Spot Markers

NMT's Spot Markers are reference sources only and manufactured by gravimetric transfer of Co-57 and sealed with epoxy.  Activity content is verified by ion chamber for content.

This traditional Lucite marker has a total diameter of 1.0 inches (2.54 cm), an active area of 0.125 inches (3 mm) and a total thickness of 0.25 inches (6.4 mm).

The Cesium marker has a total diameter of 1.0 inches (2.54 cm), an active area of 0.25 inches (6.4 mm) and a total thickness of 025 inches (6.4 mm).

Rod Sources

Rod Sources provide a safe and convenient method of calibration and quality control of scintillation detectors and well counters. Many Rod Sources are implicitly traceable to NIST within ±5% at the 99% confidence level. Nominal activities are also available.

Each rod source consists of a Lucite rod measuring 3" or 5" x 0.5”. NMT rod sources can be supplied individually or in a set according to customer request.
